I am delighted to share some photographs of a work-in-progress model of the Petit Trianon chateau by JA Gabriel. The chateau itself is impressive enough, but what really catches my eye are all of the little details being put into the rooms… the walls, the paintings, the beginnings of furniture and decor. It’s amazing to see what could just be a stunning model become a little recreation of life—even something seemingly as simple as a curtain makes it feel as if someone could be living there. (Someone very very tiny! But someone.)
You can view more photos, including details of the furniture, here at Le Boudoir de Marie Antoinette.
